Road to Wembley – FA VASE 2nd Round

FA VaseTonight, the Road to Wembley starts again. Following overnight rain on Saturday night which led to the pitch becoming waterlogged, Our Lads make the journey north hoping to return with a victory that leads us to facing AFC Mansfield in the 3rd Round.

The Chair and all associated with the club, appreciate the commitment the players have made, changing work schedules etc at short notice, to ensure we travel with the strongest squad possible.

A reminder that our hosts Mickleover Royals are currently unbeaten and top of the league from the Black Dragon Badges (South) Division of the Central Midlands League.

Its time to create new Heroes…..we predict a riot….this is our town……our team.

A reminder that the final is played at Wembley on the 9th May 2015 so keep that date free in your diary!

And as if you had forgotten, Willenhall Town played at Wembley in 1981 in the final of this very competition. Take a look at our You Tube page for highlights of the occasion. You can also view our fan website run by Ian Wale for more history.
