Club Statement / Press Release

Willenhall Town Football Club are delighted to announce that with effect from Season 2015/2016 they will take up new residence for their home matches.

This week Willenhall Town FC played their last home match at Long Lane Park in arguably their most successful season in recent history following their longest run in the FA Vase in over a decade, their first Cup Final in over a decade, their first Cup Final win in over a decade and for the first time in recent times not finishing in a perilous potential relegation position.

As such to add to this season of progress we are delighted to announce that we will be playing our home matches for Season 2015/2016 at Bilston Town CFC’s ground in Queen Street in Wolverhampton in a ground sharing arrangement.

Over the last season we have worked closely with the Board at Bilston Town and have reached a mutually agreeable arrangement that will be beneficial to both our Club and our friends and colleagues at Bilston Town.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Graham and Denise for their support in helping to make this happen and we look forward to working to the future in our new home and maintaining strong (and naturally still competitive) relations in the coming months. We are very excited for the future! #redarmy
