The Club is sad to announce that manager Matt Whitehouse is leaving Willenhall Town FC at the end of the season.

We would like to thank Matt for the time, drive and commitment shown during his time as Manager over nearly 3 seasons. We would also like to thank his wife Krystal for her support of Matt in his role.

Last season Matt led the team to our best levels of achievement in the FA Vase in over a decade and also led the team to victory in the BCFA Midweek Floodlit Challenge Cup against Gornal Athletic.

During Matt’s time with the Club he has been player, Captain, coach and Manager.

Matt has always been professional and respectful and enthusiastic (and sometimes very noisy in the technical area!).

We are sad to see Matt go, however, we wish him every success in his future ventures.

We would also like to wish Matt & Krystal all the very best ready for the arrival of their first child in June.

Naturally Matt’s forthcoming depature means that the Manager’s post will become available at the end of the season and as such we will now be accepting expressions of interest for the role with immediate effect. Please submit your expression of interest and Football CV to chairperson@wtfcofficial.co.uk
