The Hollybush announcement…

Hollybush Garden Centre supports Willenhall Football Club

Hollybush Garden Centre & Aquaria, based in Cheslyn Hay, came to the aid of Willenhall Town Football Club following their appeal last week. Business owner Jack Moody saw the appeal in (Mondays) Express and Star and made a donation through Hollybush’s Community Trust Fund.

The Hollybush Community Trust Fund was established in 2013 following the untimely death of Hollybush Garden Centre’s Managing Director Tim Porter. Tim had worked at Hollybush for over 30 years and built up close relationships with the local community, regularly sponsoring, donating and contributing to local activities.

The purpose of the charitable Trust Fund is to benefit the local community to Hollybush Garden Centre by improving facilities and enriching lives. Payments totalling £100,000 have been made to over 75 Not-for-profit organisations in the last two years, including community groups, parish councils, local authorities, local schools, charities as well as individuals.

A spokesperson from Hollybush Community Trust commented; “We wish Willenhall Football Club every success in securing funding to ensure this important part of community life is maintained.”

Many thanks from everyone at Willenhall Town FC for your kind support.
