We survived an early scare of falling behind 2-0 in the first half-hour to come out 10-2 winners. However, by half time we recovered to lead 3-2 with goals from Eddie Wilson (35mins), a Harry Basra header and right on half time, Harry Rickus.
A goal of the season contender from Lockman Legend Matt Dorgan with a chip from the half way line at the start of the second half followed by 2 quick Ryan Cahill goals calmed any concerns that there may have been a pre-season shock on the cards.
Unfortunately our keeper James Fryer suffered a suspected fractured foot and is likely to be in plaster for 4-6 weeks. We wish James a speedy return.
