Two goalkeeping errors cost The Lockmen the possibility of a point in this penultimate home game.
The Lockmen were first to threaten on three minutes with a corner before the visitors posed their first danger with a weak shot from Danny Heard finding Ben Holden well positioned a minute later.
However, the visitors took the lead in their next attack when a poor back-pass put Holden under pressure and he failed to clear properly, allowing Alex Kay to fire back underneath him on ten minutes.
Simon Larmor did well to break two minutes later and his ball into the box was cut out before it could reach Mattie Dorgan. A minute later and this time the tricky winger picked out Jason Hewitt, however his shot was directed straight at keeper Matt Burslem.
The visitors were awarded a free-kick on 16 minutes which Holden appeared to touch over the bar, however, the official awarded a goal-kick instead. Nine minutes later Burslem had to be sharp off his line to beat Dorgan to a through ball from Larmor into the six yard box. Sixty seconds later and Jamoy Christie joined the attack from full-back, his clever cross picked out Mikey Robertson who placed his effort a yard wide.
On the half hour mark, Alleynians were just off target through Ben Lewis and five minutes later and Sam Chilvers was just wide. However, a minute later and the visitors doubled their lead when a poor ball out by Holden was latched onto by Danny Heard and he fired just beyond the keeper who seemed a little slow reacting.
Chilvers then headed against the bar as the visitors tried to kill the game dead. Hewitt and Larmor then combined brilliantly to set the former free, but again the keeper was out quickly to save.
On half-time Larmor then went on a quick break down the left, he cut inside, hit a fierce effort from a tight angle only for the keeper to stick out a hand and somehow prevent a goal
The second-half started slowly, and it took until seven minutes before there was any threat. Home skipper Dan Bryson saw his effort straight at the keeper. Larmor then went on another solo run before being halted by a well-timed tackle.
Larmor then burst through the middle but his cross was turned behind for a corner. Burslem took an easy catch from the flag-kick. Visiting skipper Cameron Sinclair was then booked for yanking Lockmen sub Scott Harris to the ground seconds after entering the fray.
On the hour the home side moved the ball left to right across the pitch and when Larmor fired in he was inches over. Holden was quick off his line on 60 and 65 minutes to save at the feet of a striker before Hewitt fired at the keeper again.
Chilvers was just wide for the visitors on 68 minutes before Andy Lowe somehow survived thumping a header against the underside of his own crossbar shortly after.
Chilvers then headed over on 73 minutes as the game was smothered to death by strong arm tactics and stout defending.
