The visitors took a fifth minute lead in their first attack and won a corner on 10 minutes which was partially cleared, when the ball came back into the box The lockmen conceded a penlty which Craig bannister converted. The lockmen made a rare foray into Khalsa territory on 25 minutes and saw a free-kick fly across the face of goal with nobody able to get a touch. Bannister then got his second and Khalsa’s third on 27 minutes when he chipped home a through ball. The visitors were awarded another penalty on 34 minutes but Harry Radford pushed it away for a corner. Radford then made two more good saves to keep the score down as the break approached

The Lockmen came more into the game after the break but the visitors had two good chances at the start of the half before netting a fourth. Sub Corey Pearce and Chad Birch started to combine well and their direct running started to cause Khalsa problems They combined on 58 minutes but eventually ran out of space before getting a cross in befor eBirch forced a fine save, the visiting keeper was then down bravely to deny Alex Causer a shot rom the rebound. Both of the strikers forced further saves from Khalsa before they got a very late fifth when a cross from the right was finished.
