On a black day for Willenhall they suffered a double figures drubbing, not helped by the first minute dismissal of Connor Clifton.
A break inside the first minute saw Bustleholme slam an effort against the post, the second effort was blocked by Clifton but as he fell clearing the ball a third effort was hit against his hand and the young centre-half conceded the spot-kick and was dismissed for deliberate hand ball despite players from both sides urging the official not to. Daniel Dell firing home. Nathan Turner was denied on ten minutes by Declan Haire in the Town goal but Daniel Wood headed home the corner on 12 minutes. A third followed a minute later as a ball was chipped in behind the defence and the shot was buried. Steve Durnin then saw his free-kick on 19 minutes headed clear before haire made another clever block at the expense of another corner six minutes later. Lockmen skipper Jake Morgan mistimed a challenge on 31 minutes and Chris Brown netted the penalty. Willenhall were desperately trying to score but from their free-kick on 37 minutes the home team broke and won a corner, Brown heading home unmarked for the fifth goal. Four minutes before the break and a poor back-pass saw Brown in again to hammer into the roof of the net for his hat-trick.
The Lockmen attacked first at the start of the second-half, but within a minute a shot from the edge of the box saw Haire react too late to get to. A minute later and it was 8-0 as Brown netted again when left unmarked. Luke hayward put two dangerous crosses in as The Lockmen tried to get back into the game but the keeper caught both attempts. Jake Morgan then forced a first save from Neil Oakley after another hayward cross on 54 minutes. he made another stop sixty seconds later as Willenhall went for all out attack. The keeper then took two attempts to grasp Morgan’s header on 59 minutes. Oakley then made a double save on the hour mark. Haire then made two fine saves in two minutes, both resulting in corners. Beckham Brazier then made it 9-0 on 72 minutes when a ball looked to be comfortably reaching Haire, but he nipped in smartly to somehow poke home. Brown then go his fifth and Bustleholme’s tenth on 75 minutes. Willenhall sun Geovanne Shaw then forced a block from Oakley before denying him a debut goal with a superb tip over on 88 minutes. However, it was Beckham Brazier who got the final goal on 90 minutes.
