The Lockmen slipped to a disappointing defeat at home to Tipton, again being punished for basic errors at key times.
The home side had two early chances before the visitors broke the deadlock on 13 minutes. They lost the ball in the area and Abdulkarim Abubaker fired the ball into the corner. Ross Fox saw a header flicked wide before the visitors doubled their lead on 38 minutes when Tipton broke down the right wing, the ball into the box picked out Scott Broadway who had plenty of time and space to control, turn and fire past Chris Adamson at his near post. Jamie Sadler was denied a third goal soon after when Adamson turned his 35 yard free-kick around the post on 44 minutes.
The Reds needed to start well to get back into the game and on 47 minutes Steve stearn saw his effort blocked on the line before Tom Rayson fired over. A minute later it was 3-0 when the home side gave away the ball and the visitors broke and netted. On 61 minutes substitute Richard Smith glanced a cross home after not being picked up in time from a cross. Dilpreet Singh saw his shot blocked for a corner before Stearn saw a low shot well saved by Chris Thomas in the Tipton goal. Nathan Griffiths fired over for the hosts before Tipton took control again, Broadway and sub James Thompson forcing good saves from Adamson, both efforts being blocked at point blank range
